You may know MedicAlert® as the company that provides medical identification bracelets for serious medical conditions, but their service reaches far beyond that.  MedicAlert® is known worldwide for their ability to securely store, maintain and provide life saving details of their members’ medical histories to critical care professionals whenever and wherever the need arises.

Pioneer Medical Systems and MedicAlert® share the same mission of protecting and saving lives by providing critical services in time of need.  Like the Pioneer Medical Systems Monitoring Center, the MedicAlert® Emergency Response Center is available 24 hours a day, ready to provide your vital medical information to health care providers should an emergency occur while you’re away from home.

MedicAlert® is committed to provi ding technology-based solutions and is an active member and a leader in developing interoperability standards with all the major Healthcare IT standards organizations. The MedicAlert® repository uses Web service interfaces to support standard Personal Health Records, including electronic drug prescriptions and for patient record interoperability. These activities will ensure the rapid development and deployment of standards to improve the quality of care, lower healthcare costs while increasing patient safety.
