We bring skill and compassion to every call
When the phone rings at the Pioneer Monitoring Center, our highly trained operators carefully handle every call to get help to you quickly and efficiently. Whether it's dealing with a serious emergency, alerting a personal responder for assistance, or even having a friendly chat – they are there for you.
To serve the widest possible number of subscribers, the Monitoring Center employs staff members who are native speakers of languages other than English. Pioneer operators are also trained to use the Language Line for real time translation services in over 140 languages. They can communicate with hearing impaired subscribers by using the TDD “typewriter” device when a subscriber has one installed in his or her home. Pioneer also offers several adaptive devices for the disabled including “sip and puff,” pillow, and body switches.
To ensure superior service and the safety of our subscribers, we maintain a completely redundant Monitoring Center that is located hundreds of miles away in a different state. It receives daily back up of all data, and can be brought on line immediately with no disruption of service, should the need arise.
