Medication & Personal Message Assistant
This exclusive feature provides a reliable and cost-effective tool for daily medication compliance. To help subscribers remember critical medication schedules and other personal appointments, this feature will store up to six pre-programmable messages that can be changed at any time.
Messages are programmed into the system using a touch-tone phone from a remote location – literally from anywhere in the world. The system allows a caller to designate the time a message should be given, whether it's given daily or just once, and whether or not it should be monitored, like medication reminders.
When it's time for a message, a light flashes on the In-Touch Console and a tone sounds until the subscriber listens to the message. Exclusive with In-Touch monitoring, the Monitoring Center will follow up with caregivers if the message is designated as "monitored" and is not played by the subscriber.
In addition to medication schedules, this feature can also help people manage personal schedules. By entering appointment times for doctors, optometrists, or physical therapy sessions, for instance, Providers and caregivers can help subscribers be more self-sufficient in managing their daily activities.
